Template
Emerald - a black tie wedding website template
Gold on candlelit black, a gilded frame, and a photograph edge to edge.

What Emerald looks like
Emerald is the only dark one. The landing page is a photograph running to all four edges with a wash over it, your names in Italiana inside a thin gold frame, and a ticker moving slowly across the bottom. It looks like the cover of something.
Bodoni Moda does the headings - a face with very thin strokes and very thick ones, which is why it has read as evening wear for two hundred years. Archivo underneath keeps the practical parts legible against black, which most sans faces are not.
Use it if there is a dress code on the invitation. It is the one template here where the website matches the shoes.
The emerald cut is the dramatic one - long, stepped, and unforgiving of flaws. All eight templates are named after one.
Best for
- Black tie, ballrooms, and evening ceremonies
- Winter and city weddings
- Couples who want the site to feel like the invitation
